Terri Refshaw has been in the title insurance industry for twenty six years and currently is the owner of Artisan Title; a title insurance and closing company located in Andover. The company has been providing real estate closing services and title insurance for residential and commercial transactions since 2006.
Prior to owning her own company, Terri worked for a large national title company. She has worked as a manager for several different departments within that company. Her corporate experience gave Terri the opportunity to participate in many different aspects of business and market planning. Terri also had the benefit of working with a sales coach and eventually mentored her own sales team at the company.
During her career, Terri has also been involved with several industry associations. She has been on several committees and on the board of directors for the North Metro Realtors Association, Builders Association of the Twin Cities, Suburban Northwest Builders Association and the Builders Association of Minnesota. In 1995, Terri became the first woman President of the Builders Association of Minnesota; the statewide association for Builders. She continues her involvement today, still participating on committees. In 2006, Terri served as President of the Suburban Northwest Builders Association.
Terri contributes her success on her focus to customer service and how to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations. The service of a title company should contribute to the success of its clients.
Recently, Terri has noticed a need among small business owners in developing a business and marketing plan. She has begun launching a series of seminars and training opportunities to assist the small business owner identify and set strategies for the business planning and marketing plans.
